 Expressing his best wishes on December 16/24 Great Victory Day,Sheikh Mohammad Fuad said,”This country is my pride – this victory is my motivation,let it be energized with the spirit of the Liberation War,Great Victory Day, our humble respect to all the martyrs of the Liberation War. 

On this day in 1971, after 9 months of bloody war, Bangladesh won the victory through the surrender of the Pakistani invading forces in exchange for the blood of 3 million martyrs. On the occasion of 53 years of victory, he remembered the best children of the nation, the brave freedom fighters.
